The meeting will be held at Welshpool Livestock Market, SY21 8SR and will be an opportunity for those present to hear more about the priorities Welsh Government have for farm animal health and welfare.
Hot beef rolls will be served from 7pm with the meeting beginning at 7.30pm.
Dafydd Parry-Jones, NFU Cymru Montgomeryshire County Chairman, said: “I’d like to thank Dr Richard Irvine for agreeing to come along and speak with us at our annual county conference. There are numerous issues around animal health that we are all aware of in the county, not least the blight of bovine TB on our herds, Bluetongue, BVD and Avian Influenza, so I am sure Dr Irvine will have some insights into these diseases and will tell us how Welsh Government are working on policies that will safeguard our animals. Everyone is welcome, so please do come along for what I am sure will be an insightful evening.”
