Emyr Davies, a familiar face with the organisation, has been appointed as the Senior Group Secretary for Anglesey. He is joined by Greg Connolly as the new Group Secretary, who took up his post at the end of January.
Background
Having been brought up in the Porthmadog area and lived on Anglesey, Greg is very aware of the role the farming community plays in the area. Since leaving school he has worked in the insurance industry for a number of years and has a deep understanding of the industry and the requirements and expectations that go with such a role.
He said: “I’ve spent my entire life living within a rural community and understand the importance of the farming industry, both economically and culturally, in terms of the contribution it makes. My career in insurance has ensured that I have a wide knowledge and understanding of the products and markets and my experience of dealing with agricultural businesses will be key to my work at the Llangefni office.
