The aim of Nature and Us is to involve the people of Wales in the development of a shared vision for our natural environment and the changes that are needed leading up to 2030 and 2050, as individuals and as a country.
NRW says they are facilitating this national conversation as the principal adviser to Welsh Government about issues relating to the environment and its natural resources in Wales within the local, national and global context. They want to hear from the people of Wales about their views on the future of our natural environment so they can amplify these views and build a shared vision for Wales.
This includes a short online survey and a series of webinars. Given that the survey and webinar findings have the potential to influence NRW’s work and Welsh Government’s policy priorities for decades to come we are encouraging farmers to get involved and have their say. NFU Cymru is keen to ensure that the grass-roots perspectives of farmers, who manage over 80% of the land in Wales, are reflected properly through this process.
Completing the survey
The survey questions ask what concerns you about the environment, what action you would like to prioritise and what changes you would like to see.
The survey closes on 28 April 2022.
