Global events are having unprecedented impacts on Welsh farming businesses. The tragedy of the conflict in Ukraine and input cost inflation – particularly the prices of feed, fuel and fertiliser - are hitting Welsh agriculture hard.
In order to better assess the potential impact of these issues in the short, medium and long-term, NFU Cymru is asking Welsh farmers to outline their intentions over the coming months and years by filling in a short survey.
The survey covers all sectors and all areas of Wales. The union hopes that a high response rate will provide an accurate picture of issues our farmers are facing, as well as the potential impact on food production as farm businesses adapt to these challenges.
Complete the survey
The survey should only take five minutes to complete and will be available until Sunday 3 July. This survey will be carried out in line with Market Research Society code of conduct and all responses are anonymous.
Take the survey here.
Why are we carrying out the survey?
Providing this information will support NFU Cymru in calling for the correct policy interventions to support your businesses and provide the clear evidence to help us explain the decisions you are facing to policy makers and the rest of the supply chain.
