NFU Cymru Swansea office gets refurb

20 Rhagfyr 2019

The NFU Cymru/NFU Mutual Swansea branch is holding an open day in the New Year to give members the opportunity to meet the new team and see the new look office.

The open day, which will be held at the Swansea NFU Cymru/NFU Mutual office, Riverside Business Park, 15S Axis Court, Mallard Way, Swansea SA7 0AJ, is on the 28th of January 2020. It will give members the chance to take part in a surgery-style meeting with experts in planning, legal issues and all things farming related. Nathan Conlon, who took over as Group Secretary in the Swansea office last year, said: “This open day will give members, and those interested in becoming NFU Cymru members, the chance to raise any issues they are currently facing and is a great chance to meet the team. I look forward to seeing you all there.”

Nathan, who works in partnership with David Harris and Julian Kelly from the NFU Cymru/NFU Mutual Bridgend office, has built up a new team and is looking forward to the future. He added: “We’re really excited with the team we have in place in Swansea now and I am really looking forward to getting to know more of the farmers in the area.

“I am also lucky to have the support of Dai and Julian, who between them have over 65 years’ experience serving farmers in South Wales.”

Over the past year, Nathan, Dai and Julian have organised a ‘Pie and a Pint’ evening to get to know farmers in the area. This was followed up by holding an open day on the Gower with NFU Cymru President, John Davies, attending. There have also been a number of one-to-one meetings which have all allowed the team to understand the issues facing farmers in the Swansea and Gower region.

If you would like to book a place at the open day please contact the NFU Cymru Swansea office on 01792 798675 to register.
