Tom Bradshaw, President of the NFU, will be the guest speaker at the NFU Cymru Pembrokeshire County Conference on Thursday 23 January.

The meeting will be held at the Begelly Arms, New Road, Kilgetty, SA68 0YF, with hot beef rolls served from 7pm and the meeting getting underway at 7.30pm.

Those in attendance will hear from Mr Bradshaw about his role as NFU President but also his farming background. Mr Bradshaw farms in partnership with his wife, Emily, and his parents in North Essex. Alongside a small, owned farm, they run a larger contract farming business, growing a range of combinable crops across 950 hectares in Northeast Essex. The home farm is based around arable production and has also diversified into equestrian and renewables.

Mr Bradshaw has represented the NFU from local branch Chairman, through to Chairman of the National Combinable Crops Board, before being elected to the position of NFU President in 2024.

NFU Cymru Pembrokeshire County Chairman Maarten Davies said: “We are extremely grateful that Tom Bradshaw has accepted our invitation to speak at our upcoming County Conference, especially during such a busy time for the union. It promises to be an informative evening so please do come along and join us.”

Anyone wishing to attend the meeting can send an email to: [email protected], or phone our NFU Cymru office on 01982554200.
