A survey led by the University of Nottingham, in collaboration with AHDB and the University of Warwick is aiming to look at the control of infectious diseases in cattle.
The recent outbreak of Covid-19 has illustrated to us all the potentially devastating effects of infectious disease. The aim of this survey is to explore your views on ways to improve disease control in the UK cattle herd.
Infectious disease outbreaks in cattle are hugely important for individual farmers and for the productivity of the UK dairy and beef sectors. Disease control on each individual farm depends on each farmer, however disease transmission models that inform policy do not take farmer views into account.
Farmers who complete the survey can also enter a prize draw to win up to £100 in vouchers and is open until the end of August.
