A power of entry is a statutory right for a person to legally enter certain premises (such as businesses, vehicles, or land) for specific purposes.

This guide explains the rights that certain organisations have, to enter property to inspect, care for or destroy animals. It also explains what to do if a member of the public trespasses on your land.
